Part 61

Tags: Hazrat `Ali

By the Name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.

See the wisdom-filled saying of Mawla `Ali (a.s) in the Preface of Kawkab-i Durri:

Translation: I am God's face (wajhu'llah), being attentive to me is to turn to God. I am the side of God (janmbu'llah). Whoever reaches me is equal to sitting beside God and this is reaching the extreme closeness [of God]. I am God's hand (yadu'llah), whatever He does, is through me, whatever He commands is done by my hand, and it is associated with Him. I am God's eye (`aynu'llah), I see the universe through His eye and the world is to me as the pupil of the eye. I am the speaking Qur'an (Qur'an-i natiq) and true proof (burhan-i sadiq). My existence is the truth and the proof of truth's existence. I am the Guarded Tablet (lawh-i mahfuz), the bearer of Divine secrets. I am the exalted Pen (qalam-i a`la), whatever God has written on the pages of the world of possibility, it is written through me.32

Read the verses, prophetic traditions and sayings of Mawla `Ali (a.s) in the book Kawkab-i Durri repeatedly so that your struggle for knowledge may attain the rank of worship of one who loves and recognises God, Amin, Amin.
