Spiritual Love is the Symbol of Unity

My very dear Ġulām Rasūl M.H., Vice President, K̲h̲ānah-yi Ḥikmat, Gilgit Branch, accept my cordial Yā `Alī Madad and many other prayers. Similarly, I pray for all the other cazīzān: May God by His infinite mercy keep them and the entire jamācat in peace and safety!
By the prayers of all of you I reached home in Karachi safely the same day at 9 pm. By the grace of Mawlā, there is all sorts of safety here. The office bearers and members of K̲h̲ānah-yi Ḥikmat are preparing to celebrate a birthday. They may have written to the Gilgit branch.
I was extremely delighted and pleased there (Gilgit) and in Hunza with the companionship of all of you. When I am in such majālis (assemblies), it is the finest time of my life. Only I and my cazīzān know the great secret of the extreme love for them. In fact, this secret is the reward of a great gift from the Divine treasure of the Lord, instead of the heavenly punishment for [certain] people who create hatred and enmity in their hearts [against mu'mins] whereas it is a mortal sin to bear enmity against them. We must be grateful [to God] that He has kept us away from the disease of mutual discord. Praise be to Allāh for His grace and favor!
In addition to the zeal for service you have many other moral virtues within yourselves. Now you must progress more and more in knowledge. I am certain that your progress everywhere is due to knowledge and worship, nonetheless its main reason is God's mercy that He wants to make our cazīzān render some service to the jamācat because the final and the highest rung of the ladder of purposes is service to the jamācat.
When prudent mu'mins conceive about azal, they find all souls in the fountainhead of life, although today they apparently appear
to be innumerable. However, the question arises here: Is azal the name of an extremely remote past? No, not at all. It is rather the name of the rank of Intellect, i.e., the place of Intellect, which comes after the stages of spirituality. This means that we in azal, i.e., the place of Intellect, which is the bāṭin of the bāṭin are one or [in reality] is one. The concept of communal (jamācatī) soul is presented to explain this very reality. Thus, how amazing and wisdom-filled with delights will be paradise when we will all be revived in the communal soul, rather will become one in the Single Soul. Therefore, O friends! consider the jamācat your scattered soul and serve it eagerly.
You have now understood that the soul comprises of particles, but the question is why! Why are there innumerable particles of the Single Soul? It is because initially, everything is in a potential state and then becomes actual. Therefore, every individual's soul is potentially a universe today and tomorrow will be a universe actually. An example of this reality is the grain of wheat, which at present is only one grain but with such a capacity of multiplying that after sowing for a few years it can encompass the entire surface of the earth.
The greatest attribute of the soul is that it comprises both multiplicity and unity. Multiplicity in the sense that in itself and its particles can represent all and unity because in reality, it [soul] is one. So how excellent is that point that the soul is a picture of Divine unity as well as the luminous (tanwīr) reflection of the world of multiplicity. Therefore, it can be said that the soul is everything.
