Furqan (4) (Luminous miracles)

According to Mujahid, "Ramazan" is one of the names of God, and just as the month of God is called "shahru'llah" in the same way it is called “shahru Ramazan” (Lughatu'l-Qur’an, III, 98, see also Lughat, Ra’, p. 134). This confirms the ta'wil of Ramazan quoted in Wajh-i Din, of the verse (2:185) which is: "The month of Ramazan is the person in whom the Qur'an is revealed (in the form of ta'wil)”. That is, the wasiyy (legatee) of the holy Prophet, so that he may guide the people on the right path and distinguish its clear proofs”.

Thousand Wisdoms 654 (348)

It is the purport of the noble Qur’an that, in verse (2:185), God desires ease, not difficulty for the Muslims. This means that, in the beginning they should bear some difficulties, so that after passing through them they may attain ease and spiritual peace (65:7;94:5-6). Thus rapid dhikr, i.e. fast and forceful dhikr is in accordance with this law. It dissolves and purifies the carnal soul.

Amendment and Change

Question: Why are amendments and changes made in our holy Dua, particularly in some of the basic words?

Answer: Islam is the religion of nature. Therefore, it has, both in its exoteric and esoteric aspects, capacity and room to make amendments in view of the changing conditions and needs of the people, so that the people may not face any hardship in putting its teachings into practice. As God, may He be exalted, says: “God desires for you ease and He does not desire hardship for you” (2:185).
