An extremely great wisdom which can puzzle all of us is this: when man, walking on the circle of spirituality reaches the place of post-eternity, then he finds pre-eternity also in the same place and due to this, the great miracle of his inbiath and ibda becomes one only. That is to say that, inbiath and ibda are two names of one reality, as God says: "And you have come to Us one by one as We did create you for the first time, and you have left behind you all that We bestowed upon you" (6:94).

Precious Treasures 91

Sacred Hadith:

The greatest treasure of "I was a hidden treasure" also is hidden in the personal world. When the spiritual and intellectual creation of an Arif completes, this holy treasure (which contains everything) is given to him as his higher "I". This is the creation of arifs individually, one by one for the sake of marifat and reward of marifat. That is, just as physically, people are not born simultaneously, they are not born simultaneously either spiritually or intellectually, nor do they go to the presence of God together (6:94). Reflect again upon this sacred Hadith that in it is mentioned khalq (creature in singular), not khala 'iq (creatures in plural). It is a different matter however, that all are contained in one potentially.

Spring Of knowledge 4

According to the meaning of a wisdom-filled verse of the Qur’an (6:94), when a servant returns towards his True Lord, then in conformity with the “law of oneness”, he goes towards Him, alone, leaving behind everything related to his body, soul and particular intellect. That is, he returns to his Lord as he was in the beginning, alone and single. It implies this subtle allusion that he becomes annihilated in the Pearl of Intellect. That is, he finds himself already existing there. Another names of this place is “illiyyin”, where the “Higher I” (ana-yi ulwi) of true mumins already exists in the form of a living book or the Record of Deeds (83:18).

Pearls of marifat (100)

In order to escape ill-will and to adopt goodwill completely, it is extremely necessary to understand thoroughly the unity and integrity of humanity. That is, in the world of unity, namely, the rank of azal, only one man was created, although today in the world of multiplicity he has numerous manifestations, therefore when he will return to the world of unity he will only be one as in the beginning, and all the people of the world will be merged in and united with him in the intellectual state, as it is said in the Qur’an that they have to go to the presence of God one by one (6:94). But it should be remembered that there are at least three ways of 'becoming one': First, to take one and to leave the rest. Secondly, to take all one by one and thirdly, to take one externally but to unite the rest with him internally, (i.e. intellectually). It is the third way which is fixed for human unity and it is this unity which is mentioned in the Qur’an.

Part 15

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

It is mentioned in verse (6:94): “And indeed you come to Us one by one as We created you at first”. In verses (56:49-50) too, it is said: “Say [O Muhammad!] Verily, the earlier and the later generations will be brought together to the tryst of an appointed day.”

Ta’wili purport of verse (6:94): When the spiritual resurrection takes place in the personal world of the Single Soul, the souls of all people gather and become annihilated in it, and the Single Soul alone becomes annihilated in the ImÀm in the sacred Sanctuary. It is here that the great miracle of the annihilation in God (fana’ fi’llah) and survival by God (baqa’ bi’llah), which is beyond time and place, takes place. Thus, there is the tryst of the return of the last and the manifestation of the first.

Ta’wili purport of verses (56:49-50): It is evident from these verses that all people, the earlier, the later and the present ones gather together in the spiritual resurrection.

It is a great secret of recognition that in every spiritual resurrection5 under the influence of the holy light of the Imam of the time, Allah transforms seventy thousand souls of perfect mu’mins into angels, in the sense that every angel is a personal world, a cosmic paradise or a vicegerency, as mentioned in verses (6:165; 24:55). This Divine vicegerency is the kingdom of paradise too.

Praise be to Allah for His favours and beneficence!
