Guidance and Mercy: The sun of guidance is the Universal Intellect and the fountainhead of mercy is the Universal Soul. It is because of this, that in numerous verses of the Wise Qur'an, guidance and mercy are mentioned together. As it is said in the verse: "It is a guidance and a mercy for those who believe" (12:111).
