The Method of Cure through Music: The method of cure through music is not new, but is very old, because giryah-u zari and munajat began with Hazrat Adam and this has remained the sunnat, the habit, of all the Prophets (19:58). By the command of God, Hazrat Da'ud added music to this Prophetic cibadat which is in the light of love and marifat, and the way this has been enhanced in the heavenly book of Psalms is exalted. Now, I should say without any hesitation that if you experience a miraculous ecstasy through the music of the daf and rubab and the melodious recitation of marifat-filled poetry, then you are blessed with the grace of Hazrat Israfil. And this is the spiritual cure of all kinds of disease and also their prevention.

Psalm of lovers 24

Bukiyy (Weeping, one who weeps)

In verse (19:58) there is the mention of tender heartedness, humility and weeping of the Prophets and the friends of God in these words: "Whenever the ayat (verses) of the Compassionate were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping." It should be noted that there are different kinds of love: intoxicating love, insane love and love with humility, love with recognition and love with gratitude. What type of love did the Prophets have?

Giryah-u zari is the hidden and priceless treasure of hundreds of beauties of the perfection of humanity and characteristics of certitude, while the wise Qur’an itself, in connection with the praise-worthy manners and qualities of the Prophets, may peace be upon them, praises it with the radiance of the pleasure of God. The verse in which it is praised is: “These (Prophets) are the ones on whom God bestowed favours, from among the Prophets of the seed of Adam and of those whom We carried with Nuh and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel and of those whom We guided and chose; when the verses of the Beneficent God were recited to them, they fell down prostrating and weeping” (19:58). This is the most exalted place of sacred tears, i.e. the pure eyes of the Prophets and awliya'.
