In the Mention of Ibadat is Allusion to Marifat:
In the Noble Qur'an wherever it is commanded to do the ihadat of God, is also alluded His marifat, for the goal and end of the straight path is marifat, as implied in verses (36:60-61): If the ibadat of God is in the light of marifat, it is the straight path, otherwise the ibadat based on ignorance can be the ibadat of Satan.
If people do not act in ibadat according to what God has said they will be asked "Did I not make a covenant with you, O children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan - verily he is an open enemy to you, and that you should worship Me? This is the right path." (36:60-61). It is certain that there is no one who would worship Satan having recognised him. But the fact is that people deviate from the right path and follow Satan due to their ignorance. However, it is this form of following Satan which is called the worship of Satan.
