38:45
God says: "(0 Messenger) and make mention of our servants, Ibrahim, Ishaq, and Yaqub, men of hands and eyes" (38:45). In this verse, God has mentioned the luminous hands of the prophets and imams, in which the Pearl of Intellect is demonstrated and their inner or spiritual eyes, through which this demonstration is observed. Otherwise, everybody has physical hands and eyes.
Uli'l-aydi (Possessors of hands)
It is mentioned in verse (38:45): "And (O Prophet) remember Our servants, Ibrahim, Ishaq and Yacqub, the possessors of hands and eyes." That is, they had attained the great rank of the hand of God (yadu'llah) and the eye of God (caynu'llah). This is among the secrets of the world of oneness.
Kitab maknun 3 (Hidden Book)'
In verse (38:45) Hazrat Ibrahim, Hazrat Ishaq and Hazrat Yacqub are praised as having hands that could reach the Pearl of Intellect and eyes which could observe the sacred Sanctuary (Haziratu’l-qudus). This indicates that they were among those pure persons able to touch the hidden book and see the sacred Sanctuary.
