It is necessary for the wise to think about the blessed Qur,anic verses in which the miraculous nature of the sur of spirituality and Resurrection is mention and to know that this sur (naqur or heavenly flute), which revives or awakens soul from the sleep of death, is truly the soul of true love. It can be said in the light of marifat that it is the angelic flute, whose life-bestowing melody controls and flows throughout the physical and spiritual worlds. As it says in the Qur’an: “And when the sur (trumpet) is blown, all who are in the heavens and al who are in the earth swoon away, save him whom Allah wills. Then it is blown a second time, and behold them standing waiting!”(39:68).
