In the Wise Quran, whether the word “saff(rank)” is mentioned, it means one single person at the highest place (maqam-i ala), as God syas: “lo! God loves those who battle in His path in ranks, as if they were a solid structure (bunyan mar?us)" (61:4). That is to say that the mumins are one in the single personality (shakh?-i waljid) and this is the attribute of their unity and strength and they do spiritual jihad.
As you know, the jihad is in many senses. That is, there are many kinds of jihad and each one in its own place is important. One of these is when, in order to meet the needs of the country and nation, the collective struggle of the people for progressive activities becomes like a leaden wall, then God likes such a united effort. Those who do not participate in such works without a reason, are like those who stay at home during jihad (61:4, 4:95).
