Himar (Donkey)
It is said in verse (62:5): "The similitude of those who have been loaded with (the knowledge and action of) the Torah which they did not carry (out), is that of a donkey which carries a load of books. How wretched is the similitude of the people who belie the signs of Allah! Allah does not guide the people who are unjust." Here, lack of intellect is condemned more than lack of action, because a donkey can carry a heavy load of books, but it does not have the intellect to understand the exoteric and esoteric value of its load.
