Treasures of the Heavens and the Earth: It is said: "And to God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth" (63:7). By the heavens are meant the ranks of the Universal Intellect and by the earth, the Universal Soul, which are the heavens and the earth of the spiritual world. Similarly, the heavens and the earth of the world of religion, are Natiq and Asas, respectively. Natiq is the mazhar of the Universal Intellect and Asas that of the Universal Soul. And in the same sense, the Imam and the heir to the Imamat are the heaven and the earth.
