Question: the Magnificent Qur’an is the wisdom-filled speech of God and therefore totally pure and sublime. But for the sake of exhortation and clarification it relates stories of the people of the earth in which apparently there are certain statements made by people. What should our belief be about them?\\
Answer: Certainly, in addition to injunctions, there are stories also, but they have been related by God Himself. All such statements have the honour of being cast in the matrix of the light of Intellect (Divine Pen) and then revealed. It is for this reason that among many names the two blessed names of the Qur’an are Marfush (Exalted) and Mutahharah (Purified) (80:14). Thus in every verse of the wise Qur’an is hidden a treasure of knowledge and wisdom, for it is from God in its entirety.
