By the Name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.

Surah-yi Maryam (19:1): "Kaf, ha, ya, `ayn, sad".

Fifth ta'wil:

Kaf = karrah (turn, 17:6);
Kaf = kursi (pedestal, 2:255), i.e., Universal Soul = Guarded Tablet.
Ha = Habil (a.s) = Imam = Asas (foundation, 5:27);
Ha = mahjurah (useless thing, 25:30);
Ha = hud-hud (hoopoe, 27:20).
Ya = yatim, i.e., alone, unprecedented, unique (Refer to almunjid²¹), durr-i yatim (unique pearl) = gawhar-i yak-danah (incomparable pearl). The hidden meaning of yatim in the Qur'an is the Imam.
`Ayn = al-`Aliyyu'l-`Azim (the Sublime, the Magnificent), al-`Aliyyu'l-kabir (the Exalted, the Great), (Refer to Sara'ir²²).
Sad = sayhah (cry) = the sound of naqur = `Ali (a.s) = salihu'lmu'minin (i.e., most virtuous of the believers, 66:4);
Sad = surat (image, form), plural: suwar: munqalibu fi's-suwar, i.e., one who returns in different forms. Mawla `Ali (a.s) says in manqabat 84: Ana'l-munqalibu fi's-suwar, i.e., I am the one who returns in different forms.²³ See Khutbah-yi Raj`iyyah in Kawkab-i Durri.
