Tags: Kaf-ha-ya-`ayn-sad

By the Name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.

Surah-yi Maryam (19:1): "Kaf, ha, ya, `ayn, sad".

Fourth ta'wil:

Kaf = kibriya, i.e., nobility, greatness, overpowering (a special attribute of God). See Qamusu'l-Qur'an,20 Qur'anic reference (45:37);
Kaf = kalimah-yi kun (the word 'Be!'), kalimatan tayyibatan (pure word, 14:24);
Kaf = kiraman katibin (honourable scribes, 82:10-12);
Kaf = kull (universal law);
Kaf = kalamu'llah (God's speech). It has numerous wisdoms.
Ha = hal ata (has there come? 76:1);
Ha = huwa'llahu'l-ladhi (He is Allah, 59:22-24);
Ha = huwa'l-kullu = fa-aynama tuwallu fa-thamma wajhu'llah (Wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah, 2:115);
Ha = hubut-i Adam (the descent of Adam (a.s));
Ha = hidayat-i ilahi (Divine guidance, 24:35).
Ya = ya-sin (O sayyid, i.e., Prophet Muhammad (May Allah send blessings and peace through him and his progeny)) (36:1);
Ya = yaqut (ruby) = the junction of the Pearl of Intellect and the Hidden Book;
Ya = yusr (ease) = Verily, with difficulty is ease (94:5-6).
`Ayn = al-`Aliyyu'l-`Azim (the Sublime, the Magnificent), `Aliyyun Hakimun (Sublime, Wise, 43:4), i.e., ummu'l-kitab (the mother of the book).
Sad = surat-i Rahman (Image of the Compassionate) = God's face (wajhu'llah) = Mawla `Ali (a.s).
