Part 98

By the Name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.

It is said in surah-yi Nisa': "Indeed, We gave to Ibrahim (a.s)'s children the Book and wisdom and We gave them a great kingdom." (4:54).

Ta'wili purport: This reality is crystal clear to the people of wisdom that Muhammad (May Allah send blessings and peace through him and his progeny) and his progeny are Ibrahim (a.s)'s progeny. The book [mentioned here] is the Qur'an, wisdom is the esoteric ta'wil and the great kingdom is [the office of] Imamat. Its first proof is that the Imam of the time is the living Supreme Name [of God] and its second proof is the great miracles of the recognition of Imam which consist of the luminous miracles of the Pearl of Intellect.
