Ages of the Universe and Paradise and Hell:
Q. How long do Paradise and Hell last?
A. In the light of the Wise Qur'an (11:107-108) they last as long as the heavens and the earth last. This means that the age of Paradise and Hell is as long as that of the heavens and the earth.
Q. How long will the universe last?
A. Allah enfolds the universe on every Resurrection day and annihilates it (21:104; 39:67) and then immediately creates a new universe and this chain continues endlessly.
An accurate translation of the above wisdom-filled verses is: “They will always abide in it (Hell) so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which your Lord wills. Lo! your Lord is doer of what He wills. As for those who will be blessed they will be in Paradise, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which your Lord wills. (They will be granted) a gift which shall never be cut off.” (11:107-108).

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Allah’s eternal sunnat continues to be renewed again and again without any change or alteration. If you understand it truly, you can thereby easily understand the great secrets of recognition. For instance, the secret of the age of both hell and paradise lasts as long as the universe abides (11:107-108). The ta’wili wisdom of this is that when the spiritual resurrection of the carif takes place, God enfolds the inner universe (21:104; 39:67), as a result of which, other than Allah’s face (wajhu’llah) or the Imam, everything else perishes (28:88). Prior to this, the souls of all human beings have already attained the status of fana’ fi’l-Imam (annihilation in the Imam) and baqa’ bi’l-Imam (survival by the ImÀm) through the Single Soul. In this state the renewal of paradise and hell also takes place and no one remains in them, because they are now as they were first created.
When the light of the Imam of the time rises in the personal world by the name of the spiritual resurrection, every event of it that is mentioned in the wise Qur’an comes in front of the carif in the form of a living miracle. The final and most sublime miracles take place in the sacred Sanctuary.
Uyum dishan yecaba ele sis uyon babar ban I have seen a sublime place where all people are equal.10
That sublime place is the sacred Sanctuary where all people are immersed and annihilated in the light of the Imam of the time, as he is the Imam of humankind.
