Hushira (Were gathered together)

It is mentioned in verse (27:17): “And there were gathered together to Sulayman his armies of jinn and men and birds, and they were arrayed in order and ranks." In this are mentioned the armies of (spiritual) particles, which appear as a result of the individual resurrection in order to do spiritual jihad.

Thousand Wisdoms 283 (152)

Q78 It is related in verse (27:23): “And she has a magnificent throne”, or “And she has a magnificent kingdom”. Is this the story of the Queen of Sheba? What did Hazrat Solomon(c) order his chiefs? Did he only want her throne or her entire kingdom? Was this in a material sense or in a spiritual sense?

A78 The magnificent throne or magnificent kingdom is related to the story of the Queen of Sheba. Hazrat Solomon(c) ordered his chiefs to present her physical kingdom in a spiritual form. Since Hazrat Solomon(c) was the Imam, it was a partial example of how all subtle things gather together in the personal world of the Imam.

Casket of Pearls 1 (40)

Symbolic Language I said : He said
I said: Just as words like surur and ara’ik for thrones have been used for the people of Paradise, similarly has the word carsh (pl. curush) also been used for them or is it used only for God’s throne?
He said: Where the carsh (throne) is used in a literal sense it is common for all, but when used in a technical sense its use is special. For example, it is used in the common form in verse (27:23) for the throne of Queen Sheba, but in verse (20:5) it is used in a special sense. Nevertheless, even in a technical sense, in the way of wisdom, it has been used for the people of Paradise. Some examples are:
(a) cArsh is the supreme example (16:60; 30:27). It is not a material throne used for sitting on, but a thing to be observed. That is, it is the light of Intellect which the people of Paradise observe with utmost yearning.
(b) Those people who are annihilated in the Face of God, for them carsh is used with all its meanings.
(c) cArsh is the light and therefore where it runs in front of and on the right side of mu’mins, there they are linked to the carsh. (57:12).
(d) The intellectual birth of every mu’min, both man and woman, takes place on the Supreme carsh. Remember it is the inbicath which is the intellectual birth.
(e) The one who meets God through the secrets of macrifat also attains the carsh.
(f) cArsh and Kursi (Dais) i.e. the Universal Intellect and the Universal Soul respectively are the intellectual parents of human beings and it is therefore necessary to be brought up in their laps.
(g) cArsh is the name of the world of oneness, where all people are one in intellectual form. (h) In every personal world there is an carsh and a spiritual kingdom.
(i) The heart of a believing servant is the Throne of God, i.e. the Imam of the time, who is the real heart of the mu’min and to whom mu’mins are attached.
(j) The House of God and the Throne of God have the same meaning. Thus, those who have entered the House of God, their higher I (ana-i culwi) is on the Supreme carsh.
