29:45
No wise person can deny the fact that there are physical, ethical, ideological, spiritual and intellectual diseases in indecency and bad deeds. And it is the holy Qur’an which says that this destruction can be prevented only by prayer (29:45).

The ultimate purpose of complying with the Divine injunctions is to attain the pleasure of the Lord of the worlds, wherein lies the well-being and success of both religion and the world. In addition to the Divine pleasure, there are many subsidiary and collateral benefits in complying with every Divine injunction. For example, if someone performs the prayer in its true spirit, its immediate fruit is that, he is protected from indecency and evil (29:45). Fasting with its spirit creates the quality of righteousness in a mu’min (2:183). If such a mujahid mu’min goes to the battlefield it is certain that, by the command of God, the angels will help him. If Divine expediency is in his becoming a martyr, the angels will continue to remain with him (in the life hereafter, 41:30).
