35:10

Proof 4: it is said in verse (35:10): “unto Him good word ascends and the good deed exalts it:. It is evident from this verse that it is the good word and the good deed of man which ascend to the presence of God, and by which is meant the soul and not the body.

Ascent of Soul 10

The human body cannot reach the exalted court of God, but it is his heart which, linked with true knowledge and good deed, reaches there. In order to achieve this goal, the good deed, reaches there. In order to achieve this good deed becomes a throne, on which sits a pure word consisting of knowledge, ‘ibadat and the reality of the heart and then they ascend to the Divine court and merge with the word and act of God. al-Kalim at tayyib (Pure speech)

In verse (35:10), it is mentioned: "Towards Him the good words ascend and good deeds exalt them." That is, the good words of true knowledge and pure cibadat ascend towards God and due to good deeds, they can be exalted to His presence, so that the word and deed of the salik may be annihilated in His word and deed.

Thousand Wisdoms 739 (390)

It is related from the Holy Prophet that he said: "God does not seize knowledge from the people by snatching it from them. He takes it by taking the learned ones ...".
It is thus clear from the above that knowledge does not go into the earth (with the body of the learned) but that God grasps it in His hand. It ascends unto Him on a throne which is made of good deeds, for as God says: " Unto Him the good word (knowledge) ascends and the good deed exalts it." (35:10).

Fruits of Paradise (33)

Q122 It is said in verse (35:10): “To Him ascends the good word and the good deed uplifts it.” Please explain its wisdom.

A122 As a salik attains the rank of fana’ fi’llah, his word and deed also attain the same rank and become the word and deed of God. This is a very great secret of macrifat.

Part 69

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

It is mentioned in verse (35:10): “Towards Him ascends the good word and the good deed exalts it.”

Profound Qur’anic wisdom alludes that every wise person wishes well for God’s household. God says in verses (21:33; 36:40): “And everything rotates in a circle.” This means that the monoreality of the souls of the world of humanity has come from God and it completes the rotation of the circle in every spiritual resurrection.
