Yuhibbuhum (He (Allah) loves them)
The open victory which is mentioned in verses (48:1-4) was the victory of the personal world of the holy Prophet. The unprecedented forgiveness, the completion of great inner bounties, the luminous guidance on the right path and the tremendous help and succour were because of this spiritual victory. See verse (48:4) in which the heavenly and earthly (i.e. spiritual) armies are also mentioned.
Q119 When did the chain of the above-mentioned spiritual victories of Islam start and what is its Qur’anic proof?
A119 With respect to the sixth cycle, the first inner resurrection and spiritual victory took place in the time of the holy Prophet, which is mentioned prominently in the surah of Fath (Victory, 48). The first proof of it is the open victory (48:1), which is the universal spiritual victory of the Religion of nature, i.e. Islam in the form of the result of resurrection and the subjugation of the universe. By closely studying this surah it becomes evident that in it, particularly in verse (48:28), there are allusions to the resurrection, spiritual battle and universal victory. This spiritual victory of the holy Prophet is also mentioned in surah (110:1-2) in these words: “(O Messenger!) When the help of Allah came and (spiritual) victory began to take place, you saw the people entering the Religion of God (i.e. your personality) in groups (in the form of particles).”
The esoteric secrets of suratu’l-Fath are very amazing (48:1).
Ta’wili purport: O Our beloved Prophet! We have granted you the gift of the subjugation and victory of the entire universe in the spiritual resurrection = spiritual battle, which is renewed in every spiritual resurrection.
In the same surah in verse (48:20) it is mentioned: “Allah has promised you many gains.”
Ta’wili purport: The promise of these abundant gains is in the spiritual resurrection. The meaning of paradise being the junction of this world and the next world is that the bounties of this world, by being subtle, become the bounties of paradise.
