Gems of Qur'anic Knowledge and Wisdom - Part 44

Part 44

Tags: Kaf-ha-ya-`ayn-sad, Yadu'llah

By the Name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.

Surah-yi Maryam (19:1): "Kaf, ha, ya, `ayn, sad".

First ta'wil:

Kaf = al-Akram (the most Noble), al-Kafi (the Sufficient);
ha = al-Hadi (the Guide);
ya = yadu'llah (God's hand), yaqin (certainty), haqqu'l-yaqin (the truth of certainty);
`ayn = al-`Aliyyu'l-`Azim (the Sublime, the Magnificent), al`Azizu'l- Hakim (the Mighty, the Wise);
sad = al-Sadiq (the Truthful), al-Sabur (the most forbearing), al-sadiqin (the truthful ones, 9:119).

The theophany of God's hand (yadu'llah) is dominant among all the theophanies of the Sacred Sanctuary. Al-Sadiq and al-Sabur are among the names of God. Refer to Shahkar Islami Encyclopaedia, Part I, pp. 1213-1217. God willing, we will write another ta'wil later.

O `azizan! All of you supplicate and do giryah-u zari because this is the time of [the advent of] the Divine light's miracles.

Read my recent poems meticulously, [and] achieve perfection in the love of the Imam of the time (may my soul be sacrificed for him), Amin!
