related refs 17:71,48:1, 48:28, 61:9

The Holy Prophet was the embodied and living religion of God. When his personal Resurrection took place, according to the Divine promise (9:33; 48:28; 61:9) all the people of the world in the form of particles, entered his personal world (110:1-3). In the Surah of Nasr (Succour), the word nasr is the name of Israfil and Fath (victory) the name of Mika'il. By nas (people) are meant all people and by dini'llah (religion of God) is meant the Holy Prophet himself, because everything of God is living.

Din (Islam, true religion)

In verses (9:33; 48:28; 61:9) the holy Qur’an says: "He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all religions." This Qur'anic prophecy has two aspects, one exoteric and the other, esoteric. The esoteric aspect is that the true religion has continued to prevail over all other religions in the personal world and in the individual resurrection of every Perfect Man. This great spiritual event took place, first of all, in the pure life of the holy Prophet. Study the chapter "Victory (48)" from an esoteric and spiritual point of view.

Yuhibbuhum (He (Allah) loves them)

This verse which is mentioned in three places (9:33; 48:28; 61:9) is among the most important verses: "It is He Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all religions". Thus the holy Prophet, according to the will of God completed this great task. That is, the religion of Islam continued to prevail over all religions in his personal resurrection and in the personal resurrection of every Imam from his progeny. And God willing, the same will happen in the Resurrection of resurrections as well.

Q118 In verses (9:33; 48:28; 61:9) God says: “It is He who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even though the idolaters may be averse.” The question here is that when will Islam, which is the Religion of Truth, prevail over all the religions of the world according to this Divine promise?

A118 The prevalence and victory of the True Religion has continued by the spiritual battle of the resurrection. That is, according to verse (17:71) the resurrection has been taking place through the Imam of every time in which he, as the successor of the holy Prophet, accomplishes the sacred duty of the spiritual battle and due to which the Religion of Truth continues and prevails every time over false religions. The renewal of this spiritual victory has been repeated approximately 49 times [in the sixth cycle, i.e. the cycle of the holy Prophet Muhammad].

Casket of Pearls Vol 1

Islam is the religion of God, therefore, it is eternally present and established (9:36, 12:40, 30:30, 30:43). In accord with the time, it is called the religion of nature, because God has created people according to His nature i.e., His religion (30:30). To understand the meaning of the religion of nature, one should reflect upon the best example in nature i.e., a human being who after being born as a little baby progresses through the different stages of life and gradually reaches perfection. In a similar way Islam gradually passes through different stages of progression and its light becomes complete and perfect (9:32, 61:8). The proof that the light reaches the stage of perfection as a result of Islam’s all-embracing progress is that as the true religion, it will surpass all the other religions of the world (9:33, 61:9).
