11:44

related refs 11:48,

There is another verse in this regard: "And it was said: 0 earth! Swallow thy water, and 0 sky'. Withhold (thy rain)'. And the water was subsided and the commandment was fulfilled. And the ark rested on Mount Judi and it was said: A far removal (from Divine mercy) for wrongdoing people" (11:44). The tawil of this verse is: The souls of the personality were absorbed in the body and the external souls flew back and thus the water of the deluge of spirituality was subsided and manifested the Word of Command, with which, spirituality reached its climax and the ark went to the Mount of Intellect, to rest there forever. In such a state, Hazrat Nuh and the mumins were receiving the mercy of God and the others were far removed from it.
This shows that Hazrat Nuh had the same light which Hazrat Adam had before him. The reality and the light were one and the same, although, the words, with respect to these two great personalities, were different in describing the same reality.

Precious Treasures 75

It is one of the spiritual realities that when, through the guidance and grace of the true guide, and as a result of the special 'ibadat-u riyadat (devotion and spiritual exercise) of a true mu'min, the individual and personal kind of resurrection takes place; and when the astonishing voice of sur-i Israfil (the bugle of Israfil) begins and grows louder and louder, and a herald calls souls with a strange name, then the countless souls of the physical and spiritual worlds linked with the small atoms of jism-i latif gush forth and enter the personality of the mu'min. This event, according to a Qur'anic similitude, is regarded as torrential rain and deluge. Thus, according to this, in the background of Nuh's Deluge of water there was such a spiritual deluge too. As God says:
And it was said: "O earth! Swallow thy water, and O Sky! Withhold thy rain"(11:44).
That is to say: "O Nuh's personality! Now absorb thy countless souls in thyself like before, and O hudud-i ruhanil Now do not send the innumerable souls towards Nuh." Also it is said:
It was said (unto Nuh): Come down with peace and blessing from Us upon thee.(11:48).
That is to say, "come down from the height of tanzil on the earth of ta'wil with the peace of both worlds, favors and blessings of knowledge, and wisdom as a result of gnosis of the spirit and spiritualism.

Spiritual Secrets 11

Miraj (Miraj of Hazrat Nuh)

Since the spiritual path of all Prophets and their final destination is the same, therefore all the miracles which they undergo are also alike from the beginning to the end. However, in order to try people, different examples are given about them. Thus, the spiritual revolution of Hazrat Nuh is called the deluge, which raised the ark of his spirituality to Mount Judi (11:44). Judi exoterically is a mountain, but esoterically it is the mount of Intellect, which in the world of miraj moves and which is the sign of the miraj of Hazrat Nuh.
