Examples of the use of the plural for the singular in the wise Qur'an and in Mawlana `Ali (May peace be through him)'s speech:

7:180;
5:55;
57:12-13 ;
41:53;
27:93 and
in what Mawla `Ali (May peace be through him) says: "I am the signs of Allah, I am the trustworthy of Allah, I bring to life and I cause to die; I create, I am hearer, I am knower, I am helper, I am the one who travels the seven heavens and the seven earths in the twinkle of an eye."²⁰
