57:13


In the following verse, God says: "On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Wait for a while, so that .we may take a spark from your light (and make it a light in us)', it will be said: Go back (in the chain of the past) and seek (there) a light'. Then there will be erected a wall between them (fa-duriba baynahum bi-surin), wherein is a gate, the inner side thereof lies mercy, while the outer side whereof is toward the doom" (57:13). This is the mention of the individual Resurrection, which occurs in every time with the spiritual elevation of the Perfect Man, In this Resurrection, the world of particles is in front and all the people become present in the form of particles and their entire story, in the way of wisdom, is in circumstantial language (zaban-i hal). That is to say that, this Resurrection is not in a conscious state, as the event of "alast (Am I not)" in itself is a spiritual reality, but since it is a matter of the world of particles, therefore nobody remembers it. Thus the erecting of a wall between the hypocrites and the believers means, that after a fixed time, the particles of soul are removed from the place of Resurrection and a wall of parable is erected between them.

Help through Light:
Argument 20: Verse (57:13) says: “The day when the hypocritical men and hypocritical women will say to the believers: Wait for us that we may borrow (a little) light from your light. They will be told: Go back (to the initial history of the world) and (thence) seek the light.”
This wisdom-filled verse has many aspects from which appear the glimpses of manifold wisdoms. One of them is that one should go back through the path of history and recognize the true successor of the Prophet. This also means that the light in whose illumination the mumins will traverse the distance of the path of the Hereafter or the spiritual path, will be the same light which used to be among them in this world. Therefore, the hypocrites will be told that if you want to walk like them in the illumination of the light, go back to the world and recognize it there. Another significant point in it is: Do not the hypocrites at this place cry for guidance, support and help? And do they not receive this reply that today you will not receive any help from the light, because you did not attain help from it in the life of the world?

The holy Imam is physically God’s supreme veil and spiritually His mirror. He is the last day and the day of Resurrection and all those verses related to the Resurrection in the Quraan are his tawil names, of which name acts as the door, lock and key to the treasure of knowledge and wisdom of the related verse, because every such verse is specifically full of the secrets of Resurrection. You certainly know that the spiritual rank of the Holy Prophet is the city of knowledge and the house of wisdom, in which are preserved the spirit and spirituality of the Quraan and whose gate or door, i.e. the veil or mazhar, is the Imam of the time. And you must not forget the Quraanic law that it is this door through which, by the command of God, one can enter the batin, the esoteric aspect, from the zahir, the exoteric aspect (57:13), so that pn the day of Resurrection, nobody should have the excuse that in this time there was no such means to solve the difficulties of the Quraan and contemporary issues.

Sublime Realities (58)

Together with the revelation of the Qur'an, God had said that He will show His signs (miracles) to the people. The purpose of this was marifat. Thus, in the personal world of every Perfect Man, God shows all the people the event of resurrection and spirituality, then a wall is raised between zahir, the outer side and batin, the inner side, in which there is a door, inside which is mercy and outside of which is torment (57:13).

Study carefully verses (57:12-13) in which there is the subject of marifat. This is the place of lafif (enfolded together, 17:104) and the Single Soul (31:28). Therefore, there is only one person here, who is the totality of mu'mins (male and female), and whatever happens in front of him is as though it is in front of all of them. He who enters through this door will observe the secrets of marifat. Praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds!

Shah Karim (peace be upon him):

Root: kaf, ra’, mim. Karim means generous, forgiver, honourable, great, esteemed, a name of God, and a related hidden Supreme Name is al-akram al-akram al-akram … . Nur Mawlana Shah Karim al-Husayni Hadir Imam: Nur means the intellectual, spiritual and moral light; Mawlana means our lord; Shah Karim al-Husayni means the generous king from the progeny of Husayn; Hadir Imam means the Imam whose recognition and obedience is incumbent upon the people of the time and without this the walayat of the previous Imams does not avail anything. This most noble and the greatest Imam who, in the holy chain of Imamat is the seventh seven, is the Imam of the atomic age. A great resurrection has taken place in the background of his Imamat, which the people of the world saw only in the world of particles. They did not see it in the external world. The reason for this is the wall that is erected between the external and the internal worlds (57:13).

Q333 Countless bounties and favours of God are mentioned in the entire surah of Rahman. The same surah tells us that He has simultaneously blessed both jinn and humankind with His countless, great and sublime favours. Thus, the question arises, is there any link or unity between jinn and humankind?

  • According to the purport of verse (57:13), there is a wall between the zahir (outward) and the batin (inward) and there is a door in it. When we enter the batin through this door, there is an abundance of mercy, knowledge, light and delight, but when we come out to the zahir, there is intellectual torment due to countless confusions.
  • There is not only a link but also a unity between men and jinns. That is, you are a human being and you have heard about a subtle creature (jinn = pari). Be certain that the subtle creature or jinn is related to you and it should not surprise you if, one day, you yourself transform into a subtle creature.

By the infinite grace of the Holy Lord, the first part of “Caskets of Pearls”, consisting of 333 questions is complete today. The army of knowledge of the holy Mawla and the entire blessed jamacat are requested to pray for the progress of every kind of knowledge. Simultaneously, it is the most imperative advice for every dear student to equip himself or herself with the arms of knowledge and wisdom.

I always remember all my cazizan with heart and soul. For me, this is among the favours of Almighty God, because religious love and friendship is a sweet fruit of paradise. To have mutual respect and love is an attribute of humanity and the special property of the children of Adam(c). Al-hamdu li’llah! All of us recognise God, due to which we have extraordinary hopes related to this world and the hereafter. God willing, the luminous prayer of Mawla will miraculously work for the jamÀcat everywhere.

How can I forget the extremely great miracles of the light of Imamat! According to the law of spirituality and resurrection, I was alone while I was not alone, all were with me, particularly all my cazizan, who today are diligently serving the cause of knowledge with me. It is not surprising if the services of our companions for knowledge may prove to be useful for the entire world of Islam and the world of humanity, because the secrets of the Qur’an show that all people have to be taken to paradise willingly or unwillingly. This is the meaning of the true Guide being Imamu’n-nas or the Imam of all human beings.
