Wisdom 1: One great secret of the perfect power of God lies in the fact that He created everything on a circle and made it dynamic (21:33; 36:40).

Manifestations of Wisdom 14

The question was: What does everything say? If one wishes to answer this question from the Holy Qur'an, one has to have the universal law in front of him, and if as an experiment, the answer has to be given from the universe, one has to use examples which are common to all things. Yet, it would be better to provide its answer from both sources, so that the benefit of its knowledge may be wider. Thus in the universal law (i.e. universal subject) of the Wise Qur'an, it is said: "All (of them) swim in an orbit" (21:33). This means that everything is orbiting and rotating. This decree is not confined only to the sun, the moon, the stars, day and night and change of seasons, but is applicable to everything.

Rubies and Pearls 58

It is said in the verses (21:33; 36:40): "And all rotate in a circle". That is, in the Godhead of God, there are countless circles, as there are countless things and everything always circumambulates the real Kabah, rotating on its own circle. For instance, all those planets and stars which are in our solar system, apparently rotate around the sun, but with respect to natural guidance, which is hidden in them (17:84; 20:50), they circumambulate the real Kabah, although this act of theirs takes place without knowledge (ma'rifat).

Sweet Smelling 73

If we understand this law of the glorious Qur’an that the journey of everything is circular (21:33, 36:40), then we have to accept that as the people were one community sometime in the past (2:213), similarly, they will be united again in the future. Further, as they were a single individual in azal, they will be the same in abad also (6:94). Furthermore, there is also a great wisdom hidden in this point that, the word “insan” in the wise Qur’an, which is singular is revealed (usually) in this form except in verse (25:49) in which it is revealed in the plural form as “anasiyy”, where all human beings are exhorted making them liable to one habit and attaching them to one single “I” (ana). Islam is an universal religion, perhaps because of this fact human unity has paramount importance in it. Thus, the well-wishing of all human beings is among the higher qualities of mu'mins.

Book of Healing (131)

There are many universals (laws) in the Wise Qur'an regarding realities and recognitions and each one starts with the word "kull (every, all)", such as (21:33): "And He it is Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all of them rotate in a circle." This universal law is ordained for everything. Thus the creation and the Word "kun" also are on a circle. In this sense it is absolutely correct to say that the saying of "kun (Be)" by God has neither a beginning nor an end, rather it is His eternal command.

Practical Sufism and Spiritual Science (26)

Q108 You have great interest in spiritual science. Would you kindly tell us in the light of spiritual science, to what extent material science will progress?

A108 The indication of every law is first and foremost to humankind. Thus, it is evident that for human beings there is the throne of equality and the circle of ranks.

Casket of Pearls Vol 1

Q148 What is the wisdom of verse (21:33; 36:40): “Everything revolves in a circle”?

A148 It can progress further up to the manifestation of spiritual science and that time is not very far away. Even now, behind material science there is the rule of spiritual science, as the (Qur’ᾱn) says in verse (21:33): “All move along swiftly in [their respective] circles.” This is the mention of spiritual movement, due to which all material things are in rotation. It is a universal principle.
